Vicoda – Processing of initial orders for tuned mass dampers

After intensive sales activities VICODA was able to gain its first orders over the last few months for tuned mass dampers (TMD). The demand for TMDs to reduce vibrations has increased significantly in recent months. Heavy-duty TMDs (7m diameter) for four chimneys at a refinery in Saudi Arabia are currently being delivered. Further dampers for bridge construction around the world have been ordered and are now being prepared for manufacture. “These orders show our expertise in vibration technology and our competence as system solvers in structural dynamics”, said Thomas Jaquet, General Manager of VICODA GmbH.
