Mürmann – Membrane roof construction with m.connect

Punctually for the start of this year’s passion plays in Sömmersdorf, Germany, a spectacular new membrane roof was erected over the auditorium. The 164-ton arched steel design covers the 200-seat theater. Over 1,000 m.connect fork heads were installed for the tensioning of the extremely tearresistant polyester fabric spanning the membrane roof. In addition tension rod systems were installed as short cable-tensioning elements.
