LISEGA SE – New grinding and fettling center in operation

In the course of the continuous optimization of production processes in Zeven, a new grinding and fettling center has gone into operation. The new LISSMAC facility, with two stations for deburring and grinding flame-cut parts, fulfills all the requirements of DIN EN ISO 8501-3 but is con-siderably more efficient than its predecessor of 1992, as the plate-metal parts are processed in one operation on the top and bottom sides. With the commissioning of the new facilities the materi-al flow was also optimized in the shop area concerned. “The operational time required for fettling and deburring has been reduced significantly and the quality is exceptional”, said Heiko Müller, who is in charge of the production area.
